Now, based on the marks, the cut offs have been decided by the board itself keeping in view the present vacancies. SC candidates available were 12210 and the cut off marks for them were 100.50. for the 10928 ST candidates cut off marks are 87, for the 45420 OBC candidates the decided cut off marks are 101; for 2704 ExS candidates, cut off marks are 49.50; for 2386 OH candidates, qualifying marks are 93; for 1191 HH candidates, the cut off marks are 76 and for the 83427 UR appearing candidates, the qualifying marks are 110.

The candidates who have applied for it, were required to submit only one application online and mark their preferences like either for the states or the UT that where they would like their appointment to be. Single all India cut off has been decided for final selection and the candidates will be considered for all the states/ UTs online application form. The paper-2 of this kind of examination is of qualifying nature and final selection of the candidates will be made based on their performance of paper 1. In the northern region likely Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand a total number of 3186 vacancies are available. In the southern region namely in the states Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu, a total of 705 vacancies are available. In the eastern region namely West Bengal, Jharkhand Orissa, Andaman and Nicobar Island and Sikkim, a total of 634 vacancies are available. In the western region namely Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa, a total of 1488 vacancies are available.
